COLUMBIA, S.C. — No. 12 Florida Southern College raced in day one of the Gamecock Invite at the University of South Carolina, highlighted by
Peter Csicsaky's contribution of 11 points in the 1650 Yard Freestyle event. Additionally, the men's 800 Yard Freestyle Relay team secured a strong fifth-place finish, earning 36 points.
Csicsaky secured 11th place in the 1650-yard freestyle with a time of 15:56.96.
Bennett Baer excelled in the 800-yard freestyle relay, helping the team to a fifth-place finish with a time of 6:32.32. Alongside Baer,
Simeon Prosinski played a crucial role in the same relay event, showcasing a strong performance.
Jeremiah Goodwin was part of the eighth-place team in the 800-yard freestyle relay, clocking in at 6:43.03 to gain 30 points for the team.
The Mocs will race again tomorrow in day two of the Gamecock Invitational, featuring the 100 fly, 400 IM, 200 free, 100 BR, and 200 MR.
