COLUMBIA, S.C. – The No. 12 Florida Southern College men's swimming team wrapped up day three of the Gamecock Invitational on Thursday night at the Carolina Natatorium.

In prelims,
Simeon Prosinski secured a sixth-place finish in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:59.35, highlighting a competitive meet against the University of South Carolina. In the 50-yard freestyle preliminaries,
Will Neville advanced with an eighth-place finish, clocking in at 20.30 seconds.

Florida Southern demonstrated strong performances across several events, with notable contributions from multiple swimmers. In the 100-yard backstroke,
William Eriksson led the team with a time of 48.73, securing 14th place, while
Michael Tretyakov followed closely in 19th, finishing in 49.52. Meanwhile,
Corbin Cole, Alex Mansur, and
Charlie Hayden rounded out the event with times of 50.18, 51.42, and 52.27, respectively, showcasing depth in the backstroke discipline.

Janek Barczyk also made an impact, finishing 9th in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:01.33, contributing to a strong showing in the breaststroke. In the 500-yard freestyle,
Peter Csicsaky was the top performer for Florida Southern, claiming 11th place with a time of 4:29.29, followed by
Daniel Cushing in 14th, touching in 4:30.19.

The evening finals were highlighted by a third-place finish in the men's 200-yard freestyle relay with
Nino Viallon contributing to a time of 1:18.61.
Matheus Da Rocha also delivered a strong performance, securing sixth place in the men's 50-yard freestyle with a time of 20.02.

Prosinski made notable contributions in the 200-yard breaststroke, securing seventh place with a time of 1:59.51, and participated in the ninth-place finish for the 400-yard medley relay. Tretyakov was instrumental, placing 14th in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 20.57, and he also swam in the ninth-place 400-yard medley relay.

The Mocs will have the final day of competition tomorrow, Nov. 21, featuring the 200 IM, 100 free, 200 fly, 200 back, and 400 FR at the Carolina Natatorium.
