Anthony Matthew shaved .45 off his school record mile time at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational hosted by Boston University. Matthew and classmate
Christian Giller were the only two Moccasins in action Friday as they closed out the indoor portion of the 2025 schedule.

TOP PERFORMERS
- Matthew was the first to take to the track Friday as he competed in the mile. The junior took 137th overall in a field of 353 runners from mostly NCAA Division I programs. He secured a new school record time of 4:07.28, finishing just ahead of runners from Army and the University of Tennessee.
- Giller was next in action and placed 146th out of a field of 212 in the 5,000m. He completed the distance in 14:20.00. The winner of the event, Grant Fisher representing Nike, set a new Indoor World Record with a time of 12:44.09.

The Moccasins will be back in action next weekend at Tampa Spartans Open as FSC opens the outdoor season on Saturday, Feb. 22.
