JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Florida Southern College men's track team took on the East Coast Relays hosted by the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Fla. FSC competed in two events and posted top-10 all-time performances in each event.

TOP PERFORMERS
- The opening event for the Mocs was the 1,500m as four FSC runners took the track. Junior Anthony Matthew posted his second-fastest 1,500m time of the season and his career at 3:50.27. The time was good enough for 11th overall and fifth in the FSC Record Book in the event. Finishing just eight seconds back but 10 spots was senior Aiden Redmond who clocked in at 3:58.87 while taking 21st. Less than a second later junior Chris Colavita crossed the line while taking 26th at 3:59.80. The final Moccasin finisher was senior Seth Augustynowski who posted a personal season-best time of 4:07.97 while taking 43rd.
- Graduate student Elijah De La Cerda led a trio of Moccasins in the 3,000m steeplechase as he posted the ninth-fastest time in program history at 9:35.08. The time ranks fourth this season for the Mocs as he took ninth overall Friday night. Junior Caleb Brady, the freshman record holder in the steeplechase, finished just behind De La Cerda in 10th. His time of 9:47.22 ranks ninth this season by FSC. The final Moccasin on the track was sophomore Dillon Mantei who clocked in at 10:07.54 while placing 14th.
