CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - Florida Southern women's golf is ranked 25th in the Mizuno WGCA Coaches poll after their first two tournaments of the 2025-26 season.
The Mocs opened the season with a tied-third place finish at the Seminole State Warm Up at the Rio Pinar Country Club in Orlando, Fla. Ava La Belle and Clare Gimpel both finished tied-13th overall, while freshman Christina Nordlander finished tied-19th. As a team, Florida Southern finished with a two-round score of 602 (+26).
Florida Southern then posted a runner-up finish at the Savannah Lakes Intercollegiate in McCormick, S.C. Both Gimpel and La Belle tied for sixth, with a three-round score of 219 (+3). La Belle and Kaley Amuso both had career-low rounds in the tournament, with La Belle shooting a 70 in round two, and Amuso shooting a 71 in round three. McKinley Holding also finished the tournament in the top 10, shooting 221 (+5).
The Mocs continue their fall slate on October 6th, where they will travel down to Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. to compete in the NCAA National Championship Preview at PGA National.
