MIAMI SHORES, Fla. - The No. 12 Florida Southern women's golf team moved up to fifth to close the Buccaneer Invitational at the Miami Shores Country Club in Miami Shores, Fla.

Kaley Amuso led the Mocs with a career-low 68 in the final round. She finished the tournament 7-over with a score of 220, finishing tied-10th. She carded four birdies and 13 pars in the final round today. 

Clare Gimpel, McKinley Holding, Ava La Belle, and Darby Hancock (who competed as an individual) all finished tied-13th, with a three round score of 222 (+9). La Belle had the Mocs' second lowest round of the day, shooting a 1-under 70 in the final round. She carded five birdies, including three straight on holes 1-3. Holding shot even on the day with five birdies as well. 

Taylor Zachary rounded out the Moccasin lineup finishing tied-27th. She had her best round of the tournament today with two birdies, finishing with a 17-over 230. 

Nova Southeastern won the team title outright, with a three-round score of 878 (+24). Leonie Sinnhuber of Barry won the individual title in their home event, shooting a 5-under 208.

The Moccasins are back in action next week at the Peggy Kirk Bell hosted by Rollins at the Legacy Golf Club in Lake Mary, Fla., on March 16-17.
