EVANSVILLE, Fla. – The No. 9 Florida Southern College men's swimming team had a great day three of the 2026 NCAA DII Swimming Championships, with a program record broken at the Deaconess Aquatic Center on Thursday.
The Moccasins sit in 10
th overall out of 26 scoring teams with 90 points. Drury remains the current leader with 253 points, followed closely by the University of Tampa (244 points) and the University of Indianapolis (228 points).
FSC opened its night with the 400 IM as
Simeon Prosinski took part in the consolation final. The freshman finished with a time of 3:53.38 for 15
th overall and seventh in the B final. In the 200 free,
Daniel Meszaros again broke the program record previously set at last month's conference championships, with a time of 1:35.48 for sixth overall.
The final event of the evening was the 400 medley relay, as a team of
Michael Tretyakov, Janek Barczyk, Nino Viallon, and
Matheus Da Rocha finished in sixth place with a time of 3:09.95.
In prelims, Prosinski had a big swim for 14
th overall in the 400 IM with a time of 3:52.18 to earn an evening invite. The Mocs had three in the 200 free prelim heats, as
Will Neville finished in 1:43.44 for 36
th overall,
Peter Csicsaky in 1:38.92 for 31
st overall, and Meszaros with a 1:35.54 for seventh overall and a championship final bid.
Day four of the national championships will feature the 500 free (Csicsaky), 100 back (Tretyakov), 100 breast (Barczyk), and 200 free relay.
