LONGWOOD, Fla. - The No. 13 Florida Southern women's golf team fell to an eighth-place finish in the final round of the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational at the Legacy Club at Alaqua Lakes.
McKinley Holding led the Moccasins with a top-5 finish. She finished tied-5th with a two-round score of 151. She carded a team-leading two birdies on the day.
Kaley Amuso had the best round of all Mocs today, shooting a 77. She and Taylor Zachary, who competed as an individual, both finished tied-12th, with a two-round score of 153 (+9).
Ava La Belle and Darby Hancock finished tied-21st and tied-31st, respectively. La Belle finished one stroke off Amuso and Zachary, with a two-round score of 154, while Hancock shot 158.
Individual, Christina Nordlander, finished 41st, shooting a 161. She and Hancock were the only other two Moccasins to card a birdie on the day.
Clare Gimpel rounded out the Moccasin lineup, finishing with a 21-over 165 for a 45th-place finish.
McKinlee Proctor and Susie Davis both competed as individuals and finished 53rd and 55th, respectively.
No players shot under par in the final round. Barry won the team title, with a two-round score of 596 (+20). Tereza Zavrelova of Barry won the individual title, shooting a 1-over 145.
