BROOKESVILLE, Fla. - The No. 12 Florida Southern women's golf team remained tied sixth through two rounds of play in the Sunshine State Conference Championship at Cabot Citrus Farms.
Kaley Amuso was the biggest mover for the Mocs on day two, improving to tied-13th with a two-round score of 153 (+9). The senior shot a 3-over 75 on the day, and was one under through the back nine with two birdies.
Ava La Belle improved to tied-26th, with a 4-over round of 76. She carded one birdie, and has accumulated a two-round score of 156 (+12).
Clare Gimpel fell to tied-31st with a 9-over round of 81 today. She sits at 13-over through two rounds with a score of 157.
McKinley Holding is in sole place of 37th, with a 5-over round of 77 today. She led the Mocs with two birdies and holds a two-round score of 158 (+14).
Taylor Zachary rounds out the Moccasin lineup, sitting tied-38th. She improved seven strokes in round two, shooting a 4-over 76.
Nova Southeastern currently leads the field with a 23-over 599. Alexandra Remaklus of Nova Southeastern and Ameila Ruiz Topali of Lynn are tied for the co-lead with a 2-over 146.

The Moccasins will complete the Sunshine State Conference tournament with their final round tomorrow at Cabot Citrus Farms in Brookesville, Fla., with an 8:40 AM tee time.
