EMPORIA, Kan. – Junior
Grace Reed made history Thursday night for the Florida Southern College women's track team as she became the first Moccasin in program history to compete at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The Fort Pierce, Fla. native competed in the 10,000m Thursday night in the final event of the opening day of the championships in Emporia, Kan.

Reed took 22
nd overall Thursday as she completed the long distance race in 37:21.35 which ranks as the 10
th fastest time in program history. The event was won by Allison Kuzma of Hillsdale as she dominated the field with a facility record time of 33:43.47.

Reed, who helped re-write the FSC Record Book this season, returns in 2026-27 for her final collegiate campaign. She will enter the outdoor track season holding both the 1500m and 10000m school records and will look to become the first two-time NCAA Qualifier in program history.
