Men's Golf Set for NCAA South/Southeast Regional

Coming off an SSC Tournament title, the #4 Florida Southern men's golf team is set for its 30th straight NCAA appearance, traveling up to Valdosta, Ga. for the 2026 NCAA South/Southeast Regional at the Valdosta Country Club on May 7-9. The Mocs will tee off beginning at 11:00 AM on Thursday. 

FSC is looking to advance to the 2026 NCAA Division II Men's Golf Championships, May 18-22 at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nev. At a minimum, the top three teams and the top two student-athletes not with a team from each regional will advance to the finals, May 18–22 at the Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nevada. The remaining eight team berths will be allocated based on the regions represented in the prior year's head-to-head medal play portion of the championships, with the maximum number of teams from a given region capped at seven. The finals will be hosted by the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.

A record five Florida Southern golfers earned All-Sunshine State Conference honors, including 2026 SSC Golfer of the Year Max Barile and Colton Swartz appearing on the First Team, Donte Groppuso and Tyler Mistretta earning Second Team honors, and freshman Anthony Monteleone earning Third Team honors. Head Coach Brian Richey '09 was named the back-to-back SSC Coach of the Year after leading the Moccasins to their 18th conference title and second straight.
