Second-ranked Barry lived up to its national ranking and downed the 17th-ranked Moccasins 8-1 Saturday at the Beerman Tennis Complex in Lakeland.
The Buccaneers won all three doubles matches and got straight-set wins from their three nationally-ranked singles players at No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3. Guenther Fercher had the Moccasins' only win with a three-set victory at No. 4 singles.
Barry is 4-0, 2-0 in the Sunshine State Conference. FSC is 3-1, 1-1 SSC.
