The Lady Mocs dropped a 6-3 decision to No. 14 UC San Diego Friday in San Diego.
After UC San Diego swept the three doubles matches, the Moccasins did gain a split in the singles matches. Following her first loss of the season the day before to Bettina Radke of Hope International, No. 17 Senka Softic improved her record to 10-1 with a 6-2, 6-1 win over No. 19 Natalie Varnay. Erin Conroy and Nora Baertschi picked up FSC's other wins.
The Moccasins conclude their trip to California with a Sunday match at Cal Poly Pomona.
