The Moccasins posted their third shutout of the season Wednesday, blanking Adelphi 9-0 at Orlando.
The win improved the Moccasins' record to 8-4. Adelphi dropped to 0-4.
After sweeping all three doubles matches, the Moccasins took five of the six singles matches in straight sets. C.J. Johnson won his match at No. 2 singles with 10-7 tiebreaker after splitting the first two sets. Nathan Leavitt won his match at No. 4 singles with a 6-0, 6-0 shutout. Vladimir Barabash and Tony D'Angelo played in their first matches of the season at No. 5 and No. 6 singles, respectively, and both posted wins.
 The Moccasins play their fourth match in four days Thursday when they travel to St. Petersburg for a Sunshine State Conference match against Eckerd at 3 p.m.
