MACON, GA - Carolyn Cureton won the championship of the Flight C singles consolation bracket while the doubles team of Lorenda Rionda and Magda Stepnik picked up the championship in the Flight A doubles consolation bracket of the Mercer Gridiron Classic played here Sunday at Leroy Peddy Tennis Center.

Cureton posted a 6-2, 6-4 win over Mercer's Christie Cesarini to win her title while Rionda and Stepnik topped Madalina Man and Filippa Ericson of Charleston Southern, 6-2, for the doubles crown.

This tournament concludes the Fall season for the Moccasins who will return to action in February 2019.
