HILTON HEAD, S.C. - Florida Southern College women's tennis cruised in its second sweep of the season with a 7-0 victory over Clarion in Hilton Head, S.C. on Monday morning. The No. 18 Moccasins (5-4) gave up only two games in total to the Golden Eagles (2-3) in the most dominant performance that the program has seen in recent years.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- FSC earned three 6-0 wins in doubles with Isabella Bolivar and Gabby Hesse in the No. 3 flight, Laura Vetter and Minnie Kim in the No. 1 flight and Magda Stepnik and Mathilda Vidgren in the No. 2 flight.
- The Moccasins quickly clinched the match as Vidgren won two 6-0 sets in the No. 5 flight, Vetter won 6-0, 6-1 in the No. 1 flight and Asis won two 6-0 sets.
- The Mocs continued to steamroll as Hesse won 6-1, 6-0 in the No. 6 flight and Stepnik and Kim won two 6-0 sets in the No. 3 and 2 flights, respectively.

The Moccasins will have a week off before hosting three-straight matches against Bluefield State (March 10), Butler (March 11) and Tarleton State (March 12).
