ATLANTA Ga. - The Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) has named Florida Southern College Julia Jenike a 2022 WBCA NCAA Division II Coaches' All-American Honorable Mention.Â

This is Jenike's second time receiving this honor as she was an honorable mention during the 2019-20 season. The graduate student was alongside only one other Sunshine State Conference player to receive this recognition with Aliyah Abney from Tampa on the honorable mention list as well.Â

Jenike led FSC to an overall record of 20-10 and 16-4 in the SSC. During Jenike's final year as a Moc, she eclipsed her 1,000 Florida Southern point at home against Nova Southeastern on January 15.Â

Along with hitting the 1,000-point milestone, Jenike was named D2CCA All-South Region team, All-SSC first team, and 2022 SSC All-tournament team.Â

A five-year member of Moccasins, Jenike finished the year shooting .433 from the field and led the team from the 3-point arc, shooting .395 percent. The point guard averaged 15.1 points per game and 5.3 boards per game totaling 409 points and 142 rebounds.Â
