LAKELAND, Fla. - Florida Southern College women's basketball head coach
Betsy Harris has signed four incoming freshmen and three transfers who will join the Moccasins for the upcoming 2022-23 season.
REAGAN WHITE (FAIRHOPE, ALA.) | FRESHMAN | GUARD | 5-9
White comes from Fairhope where she was the third team All-State selection in basketball, state runner-up in soccer, and is a very strong and versatile guard. White averaged 13.3 ppg, 7.2 rbg. And 2.6 apg.

"Reagan brings toughness, high IQ, and is just a flat-out winner. She is a competitor and we can't wait to get her on the court."
SYDNEY GOMES (PONTE VEDRA, FLA.) | FRESHMAN | SHOOTING GUARD | 5-7
Gomes is a Florida native that hails from powerhouse Nease high school but is originally from New York. Sydney won the Florida Association of Basketball Coaches 6A girls basketball player of the year. Gomes averaged 20.3 ppg, 6.8 rbg, and 3.9 apg, helping her team reach the final four this last year.

"Sydney comes to us from a historically rich program coached by High School National Hall of Fame coach, Sherri Anthony. Sydney has a high basketball IQ and is able to score on all three levels."
AMARI JACKSON (GAINESVILLE, FLA.) | FRESHMAN | FORWARD | 6-1
Jackson is the cousin of former Moc standout, Mariah Harris, class of 2016. She recorded 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds when she originally played at The Rock High School. She played at and graduated from DME Academy her senior year.

""Amari will bring athleticism and speed at the post position. Her rebounding and defensive presence will be needed with the graduation of Julia and Whitney."
NA'HAVIYA PAXTON (LAKE CITY, FLA.) | FRESHMAN | POINT GUARD | 5-7
Paxton is a 5'7" point guard coming from Columbia High School in Lake City, Fla. She averaged 15.4 ppg, 9.1rpg, and 5 apg.

"Na'Haviya does a little bit of everything on the court as you can tell by her stats. She has great speed and quickness at the point guard position which can cause havoc on both ends of the court."
ANNA DENES (BUDAPEST, HUNGARY) | SOPHOMORE TRANSFER | FORWARD | 6-1
Denes is from Budapest, Hungary transferring in from the University of Alabama Birmingham.

"Denes had an impressive high school career where she was one of the top performers in GA. She was Region 4 Player of the Year at Trinity Christian. She will fill in the forward position for us perfectly with her outside shooting and ability to get to the basket."
MARIA LLORENTE (MADRID, SPAIN) | JUNIOR TRANSFER | GUARD | 5-9
Llorente is a 5'9 point guard from Madrid, Spain transferring in from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.

"Maria is an exciting point guard that brings a high basketball IQ and will push the tempo for us. She brings pivotal division one experience and leadership at the point guard position."
KAYLA SIEPER (TAMPA, FLA.) | SOPHOMORE TRANSFER | FORWARD | 6-1
Sieper is a 6'1" forward sophomore transfer from Tampa, Fla., and transferring in from D1 Loyola-Maryland.

"Kayla brings much-needed experience to the post position and we look forward to seeing her play at 100%. She is a joy to be around and I am happy she was able to come back home to Florida to play in front of family and friends."
Tip-off for the 2022-23 season is set for November 11-12 where the Mocs will face Lee University (TN) and the University of Alabama-Huntsville.
