JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Florida Southern men's track team continued its tough 2023 schedule as the Moccasins faced off against nearly all the top programs in the state of Florida along with a some teams from around the Southeast at the East Coast Relays in Jacksonville, Fla.        Â

TOP PERFORMERS
- Junior Bryson Yamnitz led a group of four Moccasins in the 5000m as he took 20th overall while turning in a time of 15:16.91. Sophomore Seth Augustynowski was the next FSC runner to cross the finish line as he stopped the clock at 15:43.47 to place 33rd. 10 spots back was freshman Luke Kaelin who crossed the line in 16:09.47 to take 43rd. The final finisher for the Mocs was sophomore Aiden Redmond who finished just five spots behind Kaelin in 48th with a time of 16:23.09.
- Junior Owen Allen, fresh of his Male Comeback Athlete of the Year honor at the annual MOCSYS, led the five Mocs in the 1500m. Allen took 23rd overall with a time of 3:57.22. Senior Alex Guy was the next FSC finisher in 27th while crossing the line in 3:58.48. Freshman Chris Colavita finished six spots behind Guy in 33rd with a personal best of 4:01.25. Fellow freshman Karl van Gelder clocked in at 4:07.57 to place 46th while sophomore Jaylen Caneus rounded out the FSC contingent in 66th after completing the distance in 4:18.27.
