Mussante Once Again Posts Top-10 Mark on Final Day of 2023 Season

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Florida Southern women's track team closed out the 2023 season Saturday afternoon at the East Coast Relays in Jacksonville, Fla. Sophomore Emma Mussante once again led the way as she once again etched her name into the FSC record book with another top-10 all-time performance.

TOP PERFORMERS

• Sophomores Emma Mussante and Karah McElhone were the only two Moccasins in action Saturday afternoon as the pair competed in the 800m. They each posted personal bests in the event with Mussannte running the sixth fastest time in program history at 2:21.69 while finishing 46^th overall. McElhone came in 19 spots back in 65^th with a personal best time of 2:33.07.

 
UP NEXT:
The Moccasins will return the bulk of their roster in 2024 as the program continues to build on its recent successes with a relatively young team.
