- Freshman Christian Giller led the way Friday night as he lowered the Florida Southern men's track freshman record in the 10K by over 19 seconds while taking 26th overall in the crowded field. The rookie turned in a time of 30:40.24 to surpass Jones' previous record of 30:59.26 which was set in 2018 at the Bison Outdoor Classic hosted by Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pa. Junior Owen Allen was the next Moc to cross the finish line as he placed 40th overall with the ninth-best 10K performance in program history at 31:19.92. The final Moccasin in the event was another freshman in Chris Colavita who just missed out on a top-10 all-time mark as he ran the 11th-best 10K in program history at 31:29.12, it also marks the third-best freshman performance in the event at FSC.
- Junior Bryson Yamnitz was the only other Florida Southern runner in action as he competed in the 5K. Yamnitz completed the distance in 14:58.60 to take 31st overall.
