VALDOSTA, Ga. – No. 11 Florida Southern men's golf slid to seventh place as the final round of the 2024 First Federal Southeastern Collegiate drew to a close Tuesday as the Moccasins carded a final round 296 (+8) for a 54-hole event score of 870 (+6).

Florida Southern finished tied for seven after Tuesday's round of eight-over 296 while No. 20 Nova Southeastern hung on for the team win, defeating the field of 17 and holding to a three-stroke win over No. 3 Georgia Southwestern. The Sharks' Michael Hay fell in the playoff against Shorter's Blake Henriques for the individual win after both players finished the stroke play tied at 209 (-7).

Tyler Mistretta climbed six spots to finish in the top-5 with teammate
Donte Groppuso, who too, climbed over the final 18 holes to finish tied for fifth. Mistretta used a third straight 71 (-1) to end his tournament at three-under 213 while Groppuso shot an even-par 72 to finish at 213. Groppuso carded the lone eagle for the Moccasins at the tournament which came in round three on the par-5 540-yard 14
th. Mistretta led the team and was tied for 7
th out of the field of 90 in pars with 39.

Max Watson turned in a top-30 finish with a 218 (+2) for 28
th place after a final round 75 (+3).
Clay Tucker and
Max Barile rounded out the Moccasins in the field as Tucker finished in 71
st and Barile in 81
st. Tucker shot a final round 80 (+8) for a tournament score of 228 (+12) while Barile had a final round 78 (+6) for a tournament score of 230 (+14).
