Matthew and Guy in Action at UCF Knights Invite

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Florida Southern men's track team sent two representatives to the final day of the UCF Knights Invite in Orlando, Fla. Saturday afternoon. Sophomore Anthony Matthew and graduate student Alex Guy took part in the 800m with Matthew earning a top-10 all-time mark.

TOP PERFORMERS

• Sophomore Anthony Matthew took the lead for the Mocs in the 800m Saturday as he crossed the line in 1:54.35, the top time this season by a Moccasin and ninth-best time all-time at FSC. The mark earned Matthew 24^th overall while graduate student Alex Guy finished one spot back in 25^th. Guy stopped the clock at 1:54.42 for the third-best 800m time by the Mocs this season and 12^th-best in program history.

The Moccasins will now begin preparation for the Embry-Riddle Spikes Classic which is schedule for Friday and Saturday, March 29-30 in Daytona Beach, Fla.
