TOP PERFORMERS
- Sophomore Anthony Matthew and graduate student Alex Guy led a group of six Moccasins in the 800m Saturday. Matthew crossed the finish in 1:52.98, marking the top 800m time at FSC since 2017 and fifth overall mark in the record book. The time also earned Matthew fifth overall Saturday while Guy finished just behind in 1:53.11 to rank sixth in the record book and sixth overall in the race. The pair now hold the top two times behind Evan Quinones (2016-18) who holds the top four all-time marks. The next trio of Mocs finished 43rd, 45th and 48th. Freshman Dillon Mantei was the first in the group to cross as he placed 43rd overall with a time of 2:03.49 which ranks as the eighth-best time this season by a Moccasin. Sophomore Luke Reeves finished two spots back in 45th while clocking in at 2:03.57 which ranks as the ninth-best time this season. The final member of the trio was junior Seth Augustynowski who took 48th with the 10th fastest time this season on the team at 2:04.15. The final FSC entrant was senior Tyler Gulluscio who placed 69th while stopping the clock at 2:12.44.
