ORLANDO, Fla. – The Sunshine State Conference has announced the All-Conference awards for the 2025 season, with four from Florida Southern College women's soccer recognized.
Carly Brodsky led the yearly awards for the Moccasins, named the 2025 SSC Goalkeeper of the Year, the first conference goalkeeper award in program history. Joining Brodsky as an All-SSC First Team winner is
Liliana Jeffries, earning a defender spot on the First Team.
Rilee Hasegawa was named to the Second Team, and
Sammie Markey to the Third Team, both as midfielders.
Brodsky recorded 11 shutouts, including seven against conference opponents across her 17 games in net. The goalie from Parkland, Florida, led the SSC in goals against average (.413), save percentage (.863), shutouts, shutouts per game (.647), and total goals allowed (7) during her 1524 minutes in net.
Earning First Team honors alongside Brodsky, Jeffries helped anchor the defense for the Mocs, starting 15 of the 17 games played. The Palm City, Fla. native recorded nearly 1400 minutes this season, adding two assists. A key piece in the defensive backline, Jeffries and the Mocs have only allowed seven goals in 2025, across all 17 games played.
Named to the All-SSC Third Team in 2024, Hasegawa earned Second Team honors, starting all 11 of her games played, with two goals and one assist. The Geneva, Ill. native tallied 16 shots and seven on goal, netting the game winner against Rollins on Oct. 8. She also converted a penalty kick in the season opener at Point Park on Sept. 4.
The final all-conference recognition for FSC went to Markey, a midfielder transfer who started all 17 games and played nearly 1300 minutes. The Commack, N.Y. native had an assist against Embry-Riddle two weeks ago and took three shots, two on goal, during her time in the midfield.
The Mocs will compete for a chance at the program's first conference tournament title, first taking on No. 10 Nova Southeastern in the SSC Semifinal tonight, at 7:00 p.m. at the NSU Soccer Complex in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
