Jeffries Named to SSC All-Tournament Team

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Sunshine State Conference announced the 2025 SSC All-Tournament Team for Women's Soccer, with Florida Southern College's Liliana Jeffries named to the team.
 
Jeffries was a key part of the Florida Southern defense that led the league in GAA (0.44) and allowing just 8.9 shots per game. The Palm City, Fla., native started 16 of her 18 games played, tallying over 1400 minutes on the pitch. The senior has two assists so far in 2025, with two shots taken over the 18 games.
 
In the SSC tournament, Jeffries and the Moccasins beat (RV) Embry-Riddle on the road in Daytona Beach with a 2-0 shutout, advancing to the semifinal. FSC lost a close 1-0 game to Nova Southeastern in that match, who later went on to be named SSC Champions after beating Florida Tech in penalty kicks.
 
Florida Southern (9-3-6) will await its postseason fate with the NCAA women's soccer selection show tonight, Monday, Nov. 17, at 6:30 p.m. on NCAA.com. Six teams in the South Region will get the call for the NCAA postseason first round, with automatic qualifiers from the SSC and Gulf South Conference champions and four at-large selections. FSC made the NCAA postseason back in 2022, going 1-1 in the NCAA first and second rounds. Overall, the Mocs are 1-2-2 over four appearances in the NCAA tournament.
