Men’s and Women’s Track Release 2026 Indoor and Outdoor Schedules

LAKELAND, Fla. – Head coaches Matt Levassiur and Stephanie Bylander of the Florida Southern College men's and women's track teams announced the 2026 indoor and outdoor track schedules Thursday morning. The Moccasins are set to compete in their fourth indoor season as a program and will be entering the second season of outdoor track where they will be competing for a conference championship. The Sunshine State Conference announced prior to the 2024 season, that beginning with the 2024-25 academic year the conference would be recognizing outdoor track as a conference sport. The Florida Southern men's track team took home the inaugural Sunshine State Conference Men's Outdoor Track Championship.

The fourth indoor campaign will once again feature five meets including four at the Alachua County Sports Complex at Celebration Pointe in Gainesville, Fla. The Mocs will open the season tomorrow, Dec. 5 at the Grand Valley State University Holiday Open. The men sent Christian Giller to the event last season but will send a larger contingent this season including members of the women's team.

Starting Jan. 15, the Mocs compete over four-straight weekends to complete the indoor campaign. The full team opens the 2026 season at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational Jan. 15. This will mark the fourth-straight season the Mocs have opened the season at the JCI. Just one week later, Jan. 23-24, the Mocs will return to Gainesville for the ACSEC Invitational. The run continues Jan. 30-31 with the Legends of Alachua County Invitational. The final event of the Florida-portion of the indoor schedule is the Visit Gainesville Classic which will run Feb. 6.

Just two weeks after the final regular season indoor meet, the Moccasins begin their 2026 outdoor season as FSC competes at the University of Tampa in the Spartans Open on Feb. 21. The Moccasins will take a break at the end of February before opening March in Tampa once again for the Spartans Classic on March 13.

Just one week later, FSC returns to action at the Black and Gold Invitational hosted by UCF March 20-21. The meet will mark the first of four-straight weekends in which the Mocs will be in action. Just one week after the Black and Gold Invitational, the Mocs will return to Orlando for the Knights Invitational March 27-28.

FSC opens April in Daytona Beach for the ERAU Running Elements Classic April 3-4. The weekend of April 10-11, FSC will compete at USF with the men running Friday and the women on Saturday. After a week break, the Moccasins will head back to Daytona Beach for the 2026 Sunshine State Conference Championships with the men hoping for back-to-back championships.
