LAKELAND, Fla. - The Florida Southern College baseball team is in the top 25 of the latest D2 Baseball poll ranked No. 24 among NCAA DII institutions.

The Mocs enter the week with a 5-1 overall record, having won the openings series against No. 14 West Florida, followed by a series sweep of Georgia Southwestern last weekend. Under the direction of head coach
Rick O'Dette, the Moccasins have had a great start to the 2025 season, batting .310 as a team, led by
Mikey Scott with a .520 average. History was made during the GSW series, with
Jack Duffy hitting for the cycle for the first time since 2012 and just the 11
th time in program history.

FSC's pitching staff has made great strides as well in the early weeks, led by Friday night start
Sachem Ramos with a 0.90 ERA and 2-0 record.
Colby Rice has emerged as a closer for the Mocs with three saves already this year and a 0.00 ERA. FSC opponents have an ERA of 8.63, compared to 3.50 with the Mocs. A speedy set in the lineup, the Mocs are one of the Sunshine State Conference leaders in stolen bases, combined for 21-of-23, led by
Jevin Relaford with a perfect 10-for-10.

The Mocs host Eckerd College in a midweek game tonight, Feb. 11, at 6 p.m. at Henley Field and will host USC Beaufort this weekend Feb. 14-16.
