Men's Tennis Earn No. 6 Seed in NCAA Postseason Selections

Mocs make their 22nd NCAA postseason in program history, second consecutive

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) announced the field for the 2025 Division II Men's Tennis Championships, where the Florida Southern College Moccasins were tabbed as the No. 6 seed in the South Region.
 
No. 14 Florida Southern earned the No. 6 seed in the region and will face the No. 3 seed Barry University as part of the South Region Bracket #2. The first round of regionals is set for Friday, May 9, hosted by No. 2 seed University of West Florida at the Ralph "Skeeter" Carson Tennis Complex in Pensacola, Fla. West Florida will face No. 7 seed Mississippi College as the other matchup in this bracket.
 
Florida Southern has appeared in the NCAA postseason 21 times in its history, including last season as the last at-large bid of the 2024 NCAA South Regional #2 field. The Moccasins previously went to the tournament in 2022, 2016, and 18 straight seasons from 1996 to 2013. Overall, FSC is 16-18 in the regional tournament.
 
The other South Region bracket will be hosted by No. 1 Valdosta State University, also on May 9-10. The matchups include No. 1 VSU against No. 8 seed Spring Hill and No. 4 seed Saint Leo University against No. 5 seed Lee University. Winners of both brackets will advance as two of the 16 teams invited to the NCAA finals.
 
Finals for men will take place May 20-24 and finals for women will be from May 21-25. Both championships will be held at Sanlando Park in Altamonte Spring, Florida. The championships are hosted by Rollins College and the Greater Orlando Sports Commission.
