Lucey Announces the 2025 Florida Southern Women's Soccer Schedule

LAKELAND, Fla. – The 2025 schedule for Florida Southern College women's soccer has been released by head coach Gerry Lucey, featuring 10 home games at Berend Field.
 
"We are looking forward to another challenging conference campaign with some quality non-conference games in 2025," said Lucey. "We head to Pittsburgh opening weekend to play under the lights at the professional Pittsburgh Riverhounds stadium against Point Park University. The second weekend features two tough Peach Belt opponents: Columbus State and Georgia College. As usual, the conference games will be very competitive. We had a strong spring and fully expect to challenge the top teams in the Sunshine State Conference.


The Moccasins will have 18 total games in 2025, 10 of those matches in Lakeland. FSC will have three new opponents to add to the record book, taking on Point Park University, Wheeling University, and Pasco-Hernando State College. Both Point Park (Pittsburgh, Pa.) and Wheeling (Wheeling, W.V.) will be road matches, the only out-of-state matchups for the Mocs.
 
Florida Southern will open the 2025 season with those two road matches, beginning with Point Park on Sept. 4 and Wheeling on Sept. 6. The FSC home opener will take place on Sept. 12 against Columbus State University, followed by George College and State University on Sept. 14.
 
The Mocs will remain home to round out their five-game homestand, with the conference opener on Sept. 20 against Lynn University. FSC will host Saint Leo on Sept. 24 before a matchup against junior college opponent Pasco-Hernando State College on Sept. 27. The first SSC road contest will open in the month of October against Eckerd College on Oct. 1, before returning to Lakeland on Oct. 4 against Palm Beach Atlantic University.
 
FSC will then travel to Winter Park to take on Rollins College on Oct. 8, followed by a home match against Edward Waters University on Oct. 12. Lucey will face his former head coaching team, the University of Tampa, on Oct. 15, with a road game against Florida Tech on Oct. 18. The Mocs have another juco opponent with Polk State College on Oct. 22, before a trip south to Nova Southeastern University on Oct. 25.
 
The final regular season home game of the 2025 season will be on Oct. 29 against Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. The final games of the regular season will be at Barry University on Nov. 1 and at Edward Waters on Nov. 4.
