NORMAN, Okla. – The Florida Southern men's golf team has been recognized by PLATFORM Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) with the 2024-25 Platform Golf Team Academic Award.
The Moccasins were one of only 19 NCAA Division II programs nationwide to earn Presidents Special Recognition, which is reserved for teams that achieve a cumulative team GPA of 3.5 or higher during the academic year.
A GCAA-record 292 teams across six collegiate divisions earned the PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award for 2024-25. Of those, just 129 programs received Presidents Special Recognition honors.
