MIAMI SHORES, Fla. - The No. 12 Florida Southern women's golf team opened the Buccaneer Invitational in sixth at the Miami Shores Country Club in Miami Shores, Fla.
Darby Hancock competed as an individual and scored the lowest of all Mocs after the opening two rounds. Hancock finished the day tied-9th, shooting a 4-over 146. She carded two birdies in the second round.Â
Clare Gimpel led the Moccasin team, standing tied-12th after the opening two rounds. She carded two birdies on the day and finished with a 5-over 147.Â
McKinley Holding closed day one tied-22nd, with a 9-over 151. Holding carded two birdies in each round. Ava La Belle and Kaley Amuso both finished tied-24th, with a 10-over two-round score of 152. La Belle carded four birdies, and Amuso carded three in round two.
Taylor Zachary rounded out the Moccasin lineup finishing tied-34th. She shot a 14-over 156 through two rounds of play.Â
