TAMPA, Fla. — Florida Southern College women's track sophomore
Heloise Pinto secured a top-10 finish in the 5,000m with a time of 18:09.47 at the South Florida Invitational on Saturday. The Moccasins showcased strong performances across events, including a standout effort from
Grace Reed, who placed 13th in the 1,500m with a time of 4:47.97.
Middle Distance Â
Nika Gividen finished 24th in the 800m with a time of 2:16.96. Notably, she set a new program record in the 800m, lowering her own school record by two one-thousandths of a second. Reed secured 13th place in the 1,500m, clocking in at 4:47.97.
Distance Â
In the 5,000m, Pinto placed eighth with a time of 18:09.47. Freshman
Hope Schoenwetter took ninth place in the 3,000m Steeplechase, finishing in 12:34.44.
