Pfeiffer and Gividen Close Out 2026 Regular Season for Women’s Track

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Junior Emma Pfeiffer and sophomore Nika Gividen of the Florida Southern College women's track team represented the Moccasins in the final regular season meet of the season for FSC. The pair competed in the 5,000m at the East Coast Relays hosted by the University of North Florida.

Pfeiffer and Gividen finished back-to-back in 16th and 17th in the heavily NCAA Division I field. The pair were the second and third NCAA Division II runners to cross the finish as University of Tampa's Mary Richmond was the top DII finisher in sixth. Pfeiffer stopped the clock at 18:14.66 while Gividen crossed the line half a second later at 18:15.14.

The Moccasins competed in nine meets during the 2026 season including the second annual Sunshine State Conference Outdoor Track Championships. Four school records fell including 800m (Gividen), 1,500m (Reed), 10,000m (Reed), and 4x800m (Gividen, Pinto, Mothershed, and Beery).
