Brown, Holderbach, Jennewein, and Scheuermann named CSC Academic All-District

LAKELAND, Fla. - The College Sports Communicators (CSC) 2025-26 Academic All-District Women's Tennis Teams have been released to include four from the Florida Southern College women's tennis team.
 
Kennedi Brown, Josie Holderbach, Emily Jennewein, and Ronja Scheuermann were honored as Academic All-District recipients this season. Brown and Scheuermann earned their second consecutive academic award from CSC, and the first award for Holderbach and Jennewein in their careers. Awards are issued based on the academic and athletic achievements of the student-athletes throughout the 2025-26 season.
 
Holderbach earned All-Sunshine State Conference First Team honors in singles and was selected to the Second Team in doubles, paired with Brown. This was her first all-conference award of her career with a First Team in singles and Second Team selection in doubles. In singles action, she went 11-6 at the top of the lineup. She is 4-2 against nationally ranked opponents and ranked as high as No. 14 in the latest ITA singles rankings. The Götzingen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany native helped the Mocs in the doubles portion, having won the last three matches. The pairing was ranked as high as No. 19 in the latest ITA rankings this season. Notable wins included court wins over top-ranked Nova Southeastern, Embry-Riddle, and West Florida.
 
Brown earned the first all-conference award of her career with a Second Team selection in doubles. Brown paired with Holderbach at the #1 court for a 12-7 record in 2026. The Mississauga, Ontario native helped the Mocs in the doubles portion, having won the last three matches. The pairing was ranked as high as No. 19 in the latest ITA rankings this season. Notable wins included court wins over top-ranked Nova Southeastern, Embry-Riddle, and West Florida.
 
Jennewein earned the second all-conference award of her career with a Second Team selection in doubles. Jennewein paired with Scheuermann at the #2 court for a 19-3 record in 2026. The Cincinnati, Ohio native helped the Mocs in the doubles portion, going on 23-0 to open the season. The pairing was ranked as high as No. 42 in ITA rankings this season. Notable wins included court wins over top-ranked Barry, West Florida, and Rollins.

Scheuermann earned the second all-conference award of her career with a Second Team selection in doubles.  Scheuermann paired with Jennewein at the #2 court for a 19-3 record in 2026. The Penzberg, Germany native helped the Mocs in the doubles portion, going on 23-0 to open the season. The pairing was ranked as high as No. 42 in ITA rankings this season. Notable wins included court wins over top-ranked Barry, West Florida, and Rollins.
