LAKELAND, Fla. – Five members of the Florida Southern College men's track team were honored by the Sunshine State Conference as the yearly honors and All-Conference teams were revealed, the league office announced Thursday (May 14). Senior Chris Colavita was the lone multiple winner as he was named First Team in the 10,000m and Second Team in the 5,000m.
 
League coaches voted for Distance Runner, Sprinter, Freshman, and Coach of the Year awards, while runners who finished top-three at the 2026 SSC Men's Outdoor Track Championships earned All-SSC status. Those who won individual titles were named First Team while those placing second and third earned Second Team honors.
 
Colavita was the lone First Team honoree for the Mocs this season. FSC swept the podium in the 10K and took all three All-Conference slots as Colavita picked up the First Team honor followed by sophomores Cole Summers and Eli Zuppa who took home Second Team honors. Freshman Parker Graham earned all-conference accolades in his first season with the program as he was named Second Team in the 3,000m steeplechase. The final two All-SSC nods came in the 5,000m as Colavita and junior Michael Toppi earned the honors. 
 
Zach Kehler of the University of Tampa is named the Distance Runner of the Year, Derick Brown of Embry-Riddle earns Sprinter of the Year, Embry-Riddle's Luke Richardson takes Freshman of the Year. Dror Vaknin of Tampa and Mike Rosolino were picked as Co-Coach of the Year.
