The Moccasins improved Monday's second-round score by two strokes Tuesday, but they were unable to move up in the standings and finished where they started the day, in 11th place, at the NSU Sharks Invitational at Palm Beach Gardens.
Tobin Dunigan turned in a final round of 72, the Moccasins' best round of the tournament, to help give the Mocs a final score of 906.  Lynn maintained it first-day lead and won the tournament with an 869, one stroke ahead of Nova Southeastern.
Dunigan wound up in a tie for 21st with a 222 to lead the Moccasins' contingent.  Tim Crouch, playing in his first FSC tournament, tied for 37th at 229. Shelton Smith tied for 48th at 233 and Peter Creighton finished 58th with a 236.  Spencer Baldwin, who had the Moccasins' best first-day score at 147, withdrew and did not finish the tournament.Â
The Moccasins are off until the Rollins Invitational Oct. 25-26 at Ocoee. That will be their final tournament of the fall season.
