After starting the day in ninth place, the Moccasins shot a final round of 295 to finish at 885 in a three-way tie for seventh with Nova Southeastern and Queens (N.C.) at West Florida's Sandestin Invitational in Destin Tuesday.
Lynn, which was in third place after the first two rounds, shot a 289 in the final round and won the tournament by two strokes over Columbus State, 864-866.
Jude Eustaquio shot a 72 in the final round, his best of the tournament, and finished in a tie for 16th at 218. Tobin Dunigan, who was tied for 52nd to start the day, had the Moccasins' top score in the final round, a one-under-par 70 that matched his career-best round. That effort pushed him up to a tie for 28th at 222.  Lee White tied for 43rd at 226.  Shelton Smith shot a 227 and tied for 47th. Spencer Baldwin tied for 50th at 228.
The Moccasins' next tournament is the Columbus State Cougar Invitational Oct. 4-5 at Columbus, Ga. ÂÂ
