Hoffmann Claims Three Victories for Women's Swimming on Saturday

LAKELAND, FLA. – The Florida Southern women's swimming team raced against Florida Tech in a meet decided by both teams not to be scored for team points. Freshman Jasmin Hoffmann led the Mocs with three victories.

HOW IT HAPPENED

MEET 1:

The Mocs opened the meet with a first place finish in the 400 medley relay as a team of Teagan Michalek, Stephanie Suarez, Nele Stroebel, and Brooke Brennan finished with a time of 4:01.66.
Junior Erin McCann was the only swimmer in the 1000 free and finished with a time of 10:47.19. The 200 free was also only swam by Moccasins as Jasmin Hoffmann, Morgan Misenar, and Allie Brinton finished 1-2-3.
Southern would sweep the 100 back with Michalek placing first with a time of 58.62.
Hoffmann would claim her second victory on the day as hit the touchpad first in the 50 free with a time 24.26.

MEET 2:

Just as she finished the first meet she took home another first place finish this time in the 100 free with a time of 52.81.
Grace Sill and Kristen Davis both finished 1-2 in the 200 back.
Southern would sweep the 200 breast and the 100 fly with freshman Emily Peck taking the 200 breast and Stroebel taking the 100 fly.
