CLEVELAND, Tenn. – The Florida Southern men's and women's track programs traveled north to Cleveland, Tenn. Saturday to compete in the Lee Invitational against several regional opponents. The Moccasins picked up a pair of victories on the men's side while the women posted a pair of top-10 all-time times. Â

TOP PERFORMERS
FLORIDA SOUTHERN WOMEN:
- Sophomore Carolina Titus posted the second fastest 3,000m steeplechase time in program history as she took third overall in the event at 12:07.38.
- Sophomore Ellie Fluman led a group of six Mocs in the 5,000m as she took fourth overall with the ninth fastest time in program history at 17:51.48. Freshman Emma Mussante earned a top-10 finish as she crossed 10th in 18:31.33. Sophomore Jinia Johnson was next in the standings in 14th after stopping the clock at 18:33.73. Freshmen Julia Svartstrom and Mya Stam placed 16th and 17th, respectively, with Svartstrom clocking in at 18:41.21 and Stam coming across in 18:48.11. The final Moc finisher was freshman Karah McElhone who took 21st in 19:09.80.
- Sophomore Capri Procopio and sophomore Sophie Barth competed in the 1,500m. Procopio took 15th overall after crossing the line in 5:10.36. Barth finished two spots back in 17th with a time of 5:12.23.

FLORIDA SOUTHERN MEN:
- Graduate student Mitchell Kozik took the top spot in the 3,000m steeplechase Saturday evening as he topped the field with the third fastest time in program history at 9:36.66.
- Senior Mason Jones led a group of six Moccasins in the 5,000m as he made it a sweep for the Mocs in the two events in which they competed. Jones took the top spot with the fourth fastest time in program history at 14:31.11. Graduate student Joshua Wagner was the next to cross the finish line as he posted the seventh fastest 5,000m time in program history at 14:33.09 as he placed third overall. Junior Alex Guy crossed the line in 14:59.15 to take 10th overall. Sophomore Bryson Yamnitz finished in 22nd after stopping the clock in 15:32.68. Freshman Caden Kwiatkowski picked up a 31st place showing after crossing the finish in 15:55.98. The final Moc finisher was sophomore Noah Ellenback who took 38th overall and stopped the clock at 16:09.25.
