COLORADO SPRING, Colo. – The Florida Southern College men's and women's swimming teams have been selected by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) as a Scholar All-America Team for the Spring 2022 semester. The men and women posted GPAs of 3.61 and 3.76 respectively to earn the honors.
In total, the CSCAA selected 731 teams from 441 institutions to the Scholar All-America Team for the Spring 2022 semester. Teams were selected on the basis of their Spring 2022 grade point averages and represented 17,845 student-athletes. A total of 21 Moccasin swimmers earned a 4.0 GPA this past semester.

Andy Robins has done a great job leading this team to academic success." FSC swimming has a long history as part of the CSCAA Scholar All-American Team, with both the men's and women's programs named nearly every semester over the last decade. Most recently in swimming academic honors,
Matteo Zampese, a perfect 4.0 student-athlete studying graphic design, was named CoSIDA Academic All-American First Team for his work in and out of the pool.
