ALBANY, Ga. – Florida Southern men's golf finished day one and two rounds of the Hurricane Invitational hosted by Georgia Southwestern at Doublegate Country Club in 10th place at 590 (+14). The Moccasins were led by
Adam Alvarez who finished day one on the par-72 7,024-yard course at two-under 142.

Alvarez opened the day with a two-under 70 before shooting even-par 72 for the second round thanks to a team-leading seven birdies and 24 pars to sit in seventh place out of the 90-player field. Florida Southern as a team finished with 113 pars, which tied for fifth out of the teams, 23 birdies and one eagle.

Tyler Mistretta and
Freddie Parlby are tied for 43
rd at five-over 149 heading to Tuesday's final round. Mistretta used a two-over 74 and a three-over 75 to make up his 149 score while Parlby went one-under 71 for round one before a six-over 78 second round.

Clay Tucker was fourth on the team and tied for 51st for day one at six-over 150 with rounds of 70 (-2), which tied for the best round of the day, and an 80 (+8).
Max Barile rounded out the Moccasins in the field in 80
th place at 159 (+15). Barile had rounds of 76 (+4) and 83 (+11) for his Monday on the links.

Anderson's (SC) Reece Coleman, the sixth-ranked Division II golfer in the country, is holding onto a one-stroke lead at five-under 139 after firing off rounds of 70 (-2) and 69 (-3). No. 6 North Georgia is leading the way on the team side by three strokes at 569 (-7) with team scores of 275 and 294.
