GAINESVILLE, Fla. – It was a strong Saturday for the Florida Southern College men's track team at the RADD Sports College Invitational as FSC posted 10 top-10 finishes on the day including a victory in the 5,000m.

TOP PERFORMERS
- Junior Seth Augustynowski earned his first collegiate victory Saturday as he led a group of six Moccasins in the 5,000m who all earned top-10 finishes. Augustynowski topped the field with the third fastest time in indoor program history at 15:05.66. Finishing just two spots behind and earning his first podium finish in a collegiate race was junior Aiden Redmond who took third in 15:12.09. The time also earned Redmond fifth in the FSC indoor track record book. Sophomore Karl van Gelder picked up his first collegiate top-five finish as he placed fourth overall after crossing the line with the sixth-best time in program history at 15:14.62. Freshman William Canales rounded out the top-five as he placed fifth in 15:33.53 which also ranks as the ninth-best time in program history. The final two finishers for the Mocs were freshman Cole Summers (8th, 15:51.57) and junior James Simpson (9th, 15:52.12).
- Sophomore Anthony Matthew led a trio of Mocs in both the 800m and mile. In the 800m Matthew took sixth overall in 1:57.25, earning the fifth best time in program history. He also earned a top-three finish in the mile, taking third overall. Matthew's time of 4:15.11 ranked third in the FSC record book while the sophomore was also the top NCAA DII runner in the race. The other two Mocs in the two events were Summers and fellow freshman Dylan Bailey. Summers took seventh in the 800m in 1:59.30 to earn the eighth-best time in program history while placing 11th in the mile at 4:24.78. Bailey earned a top-10 finish in the 800m by placing ninth in 2:00.79 while the rookie took 12th in the mile in 4:25.73.
