LAKELAND, Fla. – The Florida Southern College swimming teams completed their push to NCAA qualifications with the Last Chance Meet hosted by the Mocs Saturday morning at the Nina B. Hollis Wellness Center Pool.

The Mocs competed in seven events with fellow SSC swimmers from Rollins and the University of Tampa in a brief meet to add additional times for NCAA finals consideration.

Swimming in the 100 free,
Brandon Wilson and
John Zeiger had sub 45 times with Wilson just ahead of Zeiger with 44.67 and Zeiger in 44.80 (both B standard times). In the 200 fly,
Vanda Voroshazy finished in 2:04.38 (B standard) behind Rollins' Lauren Diehl. For the men's 200 fly,
Tristan Clanton had a 1:49.36 time (B standard).

In the 100 back,
Teagan Michalek had a 56.74 finish behind Tampa's Vrijhof (55.90), and
Ainsley Bennett had a 200 free finish of 1:51.83 (B standard). The final women's event was the 50 free as
Jazzy Hoffmann finished in 23.94. The last men's event was the 100 fly with a friendly competition between
Cameron Lai-Harris and
Nino Viallon. Lai-Harris won the swim-off with a 48.18 time, ahead of Viallon's 48.46 (both B standard).

The Mocs will await the announcement of championship selections and seeding on Wednesday, February 28
th. NCAA Championships take place Tuesday, March 12th - Saturday, March 16th at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
