Men's Golf Picked 8th in Bushnell/Golfweek DII Poll

NORMAN, Okla. - Florida Southern College men's golf enters the 2024-25 season as the eighth ranked program in Division II men's golf after finishing last season tied for sixth place at the NCAA regional. The Moccasins received 284 points in the Bushnell / Golfweek preseason coaches poll and had one of the 19 first place votes. 

Colorado Christian kicks off the year as the No. 1 team after winning the athletic department's first national title in May. The Cougars received nine first-place votes and 430 points, to sit ahead of North Georgia who received seven first-place votes and had 424 points. 

Oklahoma Christian (one first-place vote), West Florida, and Georgia Southwestern (one first-place vote) rounded out the top five, while Lincoln Memorial, Grand Valley State, Florida Southern (one first-place vote), Nova Southeastern, and Central Oklahoma completed the top 10.
 
Nova Southeastern (9), Saint Leo (12), Barry (17), and Lynn (25) round out the Sunshine State Conference teams inside the top-25. Tampa was receiving votes in the poll and rounds out the league teams in the poll. 

Florida Southern opens the 2024-25 campaign on Sept. 23-24 at the NCAA DII National Preview at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
