Three Men's Swimmers Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

Peter Csicsaky, Nino Viallon, and Brandon Wilson earn recognition

LAKELAND, Fla. – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) 2024-25 Academic All-District Men's Swimming Teams have been released, with three from Florida Southern College selected.

The Academic All-District Team recipients for Division II include Florida Southern's Peter Csicsaky, Nino Viallon, and Brandon Wilson.

Csicsaky earned his first Academic All-District recognition, fresh off an All-SSC First Team honor, leading the Mocs in four different events during the 2024-25 season. He is the team leader in the 200 free (1:38.88), 500 free (4:26.67), 1000 free (9:13.89), and 1650 free (15:40.11), all B cut times this year. The sophomore from Budapest, Hungary, earned Honorable Mention All-America status in the 500 free and 1650 free events, placing in the top 16 of all DII swimmers.  At the SSC Championships, Csicsaky finished fifth in the 500 free, fifth in the 1000 free, and third in the 1650 free.

Viallon also earned his first Academic All-District recognition after a big 2024-25 season. Viallon earned his first All-SSC recognition (Third Team) after a key figure in the 100 fly, later breaking that event's record at the NCAA Championships. The junior from La Wantzenau, France, finished with an Honorable Mention All-America status in the 50 free and All-America in the 200 medley relay, 100 fly, 400 medley relay, and 400 free relay. The 400 MR was a new FSC and SSC record.

Wilson was selected to his second Academic All-District team, leading the Mocs with five All-American honors at this year's NCAA Championships. He placed third in the 100 back at NCAA's, breaking a nine-year program record. He also helped set a new 400 MR program and SSC record. A senior from Baltimore, Maryland, Wilson also had AA status in the 50 free, 200 MR, and 400 FR. At the SSC Championships, Wilson defended his 100 backstroke title, his second-straight individual championship.
