GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Florida Southern College men's track showcased a competitive effort at the Legends of Alachua County Invitational, with senior Anthony Matthew securing a fifth-place finish in the 800m with a time of 1:51.40. Impressively, this performance lowered his school record by nearly a second and marked his second NCAA Provisional Qualifying Mark this season in the event. 

Middle Distance  
Matthew secured fifth-place in the 800m with a time of 1:51.40. This achievement was notable as it lowered his school record by nearly a second and was his second NCAA Provisional Qualifying Mark this season in the event. Freshman Zack Gunderson, junior Declan Ziomek, and senior Caleb Brady followed in 18th, 29th, and 33rd with times of 1:58.55, 2:02.67, and 2:06.47, respectively.  

Distance  
Freshman Skyler Jensen led the way in the 3000m, placing seventh with a time of 8:52.77, followed by Ziomek in 11th at 9:01.22, and Brady in 13th at 9:11.78.
