ORLANDO, Fla. — Florida Southern College's men's track team delivered a strong showing at the UCF Black & Gold Challenge. The Moccasins competed in two events on the final day including the 800m and the 1500m.

In the 800m, sophomore
Daniel Welling placed 42nd with a time of 1:56.17, followed closely by classmate
Andrew Nyland in 44th with a time of 1:56.25. Â
Distance Â
In the 1500m Open, junior
Dillon Mantei finished 10th at 4:04.98, and junior
Trevor Cross was 12th with a time of 4:05.47.
