Mocs Remain Atop Bushnell/Golfweek Coaches Poll

NORMAN, Okla. - The defending National Champion Florida Southern men's golf team remains at the top of the first Bushnell/Golfweek Coaches Poll for the 2026-27 season after their 14th National Championship title in May. The Moccasins received 392 points (and 14 first-place votes) in the first coaches poll of the season. 
 
The three other schools receiving first-place votes were North Georgia (1), Central Oklahoma (1), and Colorado Christian (1). 
 
Nova Southeastern (8), Saint Leo (14), Barry (15), and Lynn (22) round out the Sunshine State Conference teams inside the top-25. Rollins, Eckerd, and Embry-Riddle were all receiving votes, representing the entire conference in the poll. 
 
Florida Southern opens the 2026-27 campaign on Sept. 28-29 at the National Preview at the PGA National in West Palm Beach, Fla.

Established in 1958, the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) is the professional organization of men's collegiate golf coaches.
