LAKELAND, Fla. – The No. 16 Florida Southern College men's swimming team opened 2025 with a dual meet win over Westminster College on Monday afternoon at the Nina B. Hollis Wellness Center Pool.

The Moccasins won the meet with 118 team points to the Titans' 70 points. FSC recently jumped up in the latest CSCAA Top 25 poll to 16
th among Division II teams after last month's dual meet and invitational at Indian River State College.

The meet started with the 400 medley relay as a team of
Brandon Wilson, Janek Barczyk, Tristan Clanton, and
Will Neville finished first in a time of 3:22.86. After the relay, the Mocs had a sweep of the podium in the 1000 free with
Peter Csicsaky in first (9:53.73),
Clyde Crouse in second (10:14.07), and
Daniel Cushing in third (10:18.57). For the 200 free,
John Zeiger had the top time in 1:42.58, followed by
Thomas Wooldridge (1:44.54), and
Bennett Baer (1:46.89).

With the 50 free sprints,
Matheus Da Rocha took first in 20.80, with
Michael Tretyakov right behind with 21.32 and
Anton Akopian with 21.59.
Nino Viallon won the 200 IM in 1:56.38, followed by Wilson (1:58.10), and
Gianni Famiano with 1:58.14. Clanton then won the 100 fly in 51.63 and great showing in the 100 free, with Akopian the best time of 44.27.

Wilson won the 100 back in 52.11, with Wooldridge the top FSC time in the 500 free of 4:41.75. The final individual event of the day was the 100 breast as Barczyk won in 57.04. The 200 free relay ended with another Moccasin top time of 1:25.56 with a team of Viallon, Neville,
Corbin Cole, and Da Rocha.

The Mocs will remain at home to host Lynn University on Jan. 17 and Nova Southeastern University on Jan. 18 at the Nina B. Hollis Wellness Center Pool.
